Talking Mental Health Derbyshire

We offer a range of therapies for people experiencing common psychological difficulties, such as feeling anxious, low, or depressed. We are a free and confidential service for adults 16 years and over who are registered with a Derbyshire GP. Our trained psychological therapists use talking therapies, such as counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy, to help people move towards recovery. See website or give us a call to self-refer.

Timeswap

Time Swap is an initiative that encourages local communities to help each other by sharing time and talents. As a member you can earn 'time' by doing things in your community that you enjoy, or are good at, to help other people. You can then spend that time on getting help from other people with something that you find difficult or someone in your community could teach you a new skill.

Touchwood Centres

The aim of the Centres is to provide a supportive environment for members and carers where choice is paramount. We endeavour to make our day centres welcoming, safe and also provide a low cost meal, with a teapot that never runs dry! Touchwood has centres in Ilkeston and Long Eaton and provides a range of courses and activities.

Towards Work

Towards Work aims to support people with those vital first steps towards gaining employment and overcoming barriers through a personalised service and support. It is delivered by a partnership led by Groundwork Greater Nottingham. It is funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery, through the Big Lottery Fund.
