Recovery Project Event Update - STAND TO: Rockboxathon – 13 September 2023

Posted on: 29 Sep 2023

On Wednesday 13th September 2023, our partners at STAND TO hosted a Rockbox Family Fitness Event to showcase their Veteran Community Support for each other.  As ever this Event was heavily supported by their Veterans, their Families and friends, they also had support from some of our GRID partners from the Zink Project and The Global Adventure so thanks to them for this, it was very much appreciated.

Three sessions were hosted by Jade from Rockbox with her inevitable enthusiasm which kept everyone motivated and left some who did all three sessions in a sweaty mess.  The uplift in the spirits from their Veterans post event was clear to see (they may not have thought so at the time).  It goes to show the Journey they are on, and that Fitness and Wellbeing is paramount to the recovery programme.

If you would like more information on how to attend STAND TO please call 01246 959333 to speak to one of the team or visit the website https://www.standto.co.uk/
