The date has now been confirmed for the next #GRIDVoices meeting at The Chesterfield FC Community Trust HUB (The Hub, Technique Stadium, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S41 8NZ).
It will be on the 14th November 2022 from 11am-2pm. The first hour will be dedicated to listening to the views of those with lived-experience to set an agenda and discuss their goals and aims for the recovery voice in Derbyshire. We are asking professionals to please arrive from 12pm-2pm.
Hosted by David Best and his team from Leeds Trinity University, in conjunction with Derbyshire County Council, the event will follow on from the successful launch of GRID Voices at Chesterfield FC Community Trust.
We would invite you to sign up as a GRID VOICES Champion and to come to this meeting to reflect back on how the voice of lived experience can be supported in your organisations and across Derbyshire and what you can do to support the longer-term goals of inclusion and co-production.
What the meeting will involve is a discussion of the aims set by the GRID VOICES Lived Experience group and the broader realisation and implementation of the “From Harm To Hope” agenda across Derbyshire.
In response to feedback from the last event, the meeting will take place from 12 to 1, and will be followed by lunch and the opportunity to network and build recovery-supportive relationships.
To book on to the event: Please contact Mulka Nisic at M.Nisic@derby.ac.uk
We look forward to seeing you there
