Have your say on Recovery in Derbyshire by coming to our event on the 7th September in Chesterfield!

Derbyshire County Council, in conjunction with Leeds Trinity University, would like to invite interested parties to attend a launchpad event around ‘Empowering Recovery in Derbyshire’.

The aim of the event is for us to listen to the experiences of stakeholders, including individuals in recovery in Derbyshire, on current recovery provision and projects in the Derbyshire area, and use this to shape the future of recovery in the County.

The event will be held on the 7th September 2022 in Chesterfield at the Chesterfield FC Community Trust HUB, (The Hub, Technique Stadium, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S41 8NZ) from 10am to 1.30pm. Food and refreshments will be provided free of charge!

The event is for:

  • Individuals who are currently in recovery who live in the Derbyshire area
  • Service providers
  • Recovery community organisations
  • Individual recovery champions
  • Partner organisations
  • Local NGOs and community groups
  • Interested individuals – the model that we are operating on for this event is inclusive and participative and anyone who brings an open mind and a commitment to improving recovery pathways and outcomes in Derbyshire will be welcome
