Good News! Zink Achieves National Standard for Employment Support

Posted on: 24 Oct 2023

Our partners at The Zink Project would like to share some recent good news regarding their Employability Programmes.

Lottery Community and Derbyshire County Council fund two employability programmes at Zink.  These have been running since April and June respectively and so far over 50 people have joined with 20 going into work already.  The success rate is largely because the two funders allow Zink to deliver programmes flexibly to meet the needs of individual clients.  This was reflected in a report undertaken by a Matrix standard assessor this month.

The Matrix Standard is the national Department for Education standard for employment and advice services.  Zink not only reached the standard but was praised for its person-centred approach and for enabling participants to feel safe and valued.

If you would like more information on how to attend the RISE Employability Programme, you can find contact information and can read more about the project on the GRID website’s Recovery Projects page –
