Global Adventure Missions – Celebrating Recovery Month - Guiding Light Hike: Illuminating Recovery in Derbyshire

We are pleased to announce that our Partners at Global Adventure Missions are organising a guiding light hike event, funded by Derbyshire County Council, to celebrate recovery month!

Date – Saturday, 16 September 2023

Time – 7.30pm to 10.30pm

Meeting point – Hooks Carr Car Park, Stanage Edge, Hope Valley S32 1BR

Join the hike for a captivating experience that blends charity and adventure!  The upcoming night hike, illuminated by a sea of flashlights, promises to produce a mesmerising scene while shedding light on a crucial cause.  As you traverse the stunning landscapes of Derbyshire, all will unite for awareness on substance abuse and recovery programs. This event welcomes all – partners, friends, families, and individuals on the path to recovery.  Come together under the stars, spreading hope and solidarity in the fight against addiction.

Bring suitable clothing & shoes, Global Adventure Missions will supply you with a torch, come ready to have fun and make memories!  Join the hike at the meeting point car park at 7:30pm, ready for a 8:00pm start.

This is a free event however if anyone would like to donate to the project every penny would be greatly appreciated.
