About the Programme: Your Choices Matter
Delivered by Elastic FM and supported by Derbyshire County Council, Your Choices Matter offers a holistic approach to recovery from alcohol and substance use. The programme combines emotional support, practical tools, and lifestyle guidance to help people make more positive choices in their daily lives.
Participants begin with a personal assessment to tailor the support they receive. Sessions are led by professionals in psychotherapy, nutrition, fitness, and life coaching, and cover topics like wellbeing, goal-setting, and digital skills. A non-religious introduction to the 12 Steps is also available online.
Activities include nature walks, horse riding, group days out, and monthly coffee chats. Sessions take place both in-person and online, with many hosted at the Elastic FM studio in Clowne.
