Across Derbyshire, communities have been coming together to share stories, challenge stigma, and inspire change. Now, we’re inviting you to take the next step – by helping shape the future of recovery in our county.
The Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO) Roadshows are your chance to get involved in building a stronger, more inclusive recovery community. These events bring people together from across Derbyshire because recovery knows no borders – and neither should the support that helps people thrive.
LEROs are grassroots organisations led by people with lived experience of addiction and recovery. They play a vital role in supporting individuals, families, and communities – and your voice can help them grow.

The aim? To understand what communities need to start, grow and sustain LEROs. These events will lead to the creation of a LERO Development Plan that will inform Derbyshire’s future.
Whether you’re in recovery, support someone who is, or care about building stronger, more inclusive communities, your voice matters. Join the events for an engaging day of learning, connection, and building recovery-led leadership.
