Recovery Connections will host the final Lived Experience Recovery Organisation Roadshow Celebratory event on Monday 10th November, from 12:00pm to 4:30pm, in the Ballroom at the Winding Wheel Theatre, Holywell Street, Chesterfield (S41 7SA).
This free event marks the culmination of a county-wide journey that has brought together voices, experiences, and hopes from across Derbyshire.
Throughout 2025, Your Recovery, Your Community has travelled across Derbyshire County, visiting Buxton, Bakewell, Bolsover, Belper, Swadlincote, Chesterfield, Ilkeston, and Dronfield. At each location, Recovery Connections gathered insights through interviews, surveys, and conversations with people in recovery, their families, and local residents. These voices helped to amplify the strengths of Derbyshire’s recovery communities and highlighted the importance of growing Lived-Experience Recovery Organisations (LEROs) and lived-experience leadership.
Returning to the Winding Wheel Theatre—where the project first launched in May—this final event will celebrate the journey so far and showcase the findings, themes, and creative contributions collected throughout the year. It will be a space for connection, reflection, and inspiration.

It is not a professional or networking event—it is a space for people who have walked similar paths to come together, share, and inspire one another.
