What to Expect:
As part of Recovery Month, Growing Lives will host a gentle and inclusive 5-mile walk along the scenic Erewash Canal, followed by a shared lunch at their community hub. This event is designed to support recovery through connection, movement, and nature. Participants will enjoy a relaxed outdoor experience that encourages conversation, reflection, and wellbeing.
The walk is suitable for a range of abilities, with shorter route options available for those who may find the full distance challenging or in case of warm weather. Whether you’re walking the full stretch or joining for part of the journey, the event offers a welcoming space for anyone affected by recovery—directly or indirectly!
