Following on from the success of the Belper Recovery Space, we are pleased to announce three new Recovery Community Spaces – in Buxton in the High Peak, Langwith in Bolsover, and Chesterfield town centre.
New Recovery Space at Zink HQ – SK17 6LJ
Welcome to Zink Recovery Space at Zink Headquarters in Buxton!
Recovery is easier when others help. Connecting through positive activities boosts mood, builds confidence, and benefits physical as well as mental well-being. It reduces stress and the temptation of harmful substances. At Zink HQ, visitors will find a welcoming space where they can:
- Talk with the Recovery Team: Friendly, supportive individuals with lived experience who understand.
- Take part in uplifting activities: Try new games, get creative, stay active, or engage with others within the community.
- Enjoy a Sober Social Night with Others: Games, laughter, and sometimes karaoke!
- Connect via Zoom: Wednesdays at 8:30pm.
- Book a session with a Lived Experience Recovery Supporter: One-to-one guidance from someone who has been through it all before (referral required).
- Refuel at the Eco-Café: Enjoy a hot lunch, coffee, or cake in a relaxed atmosphere.

Welcome to Rhubarb Farm Recovery Space at Langwith Village Hall!
Rhubarb Farm is excited to announce the launch of The Recovery Space, a brand-new, welcoming hub for anyone affected by their own or someone else’s substance use. Set in the heart of Langwith at The Old Caretakers House, Langwith Parish Hall, NG20 9EZ, this safe and inclusive space offers support, activities, and community connection—all in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. At Rhubarb Farm, visitors will find a welcoming space where they can:
- Participate in Workshops: Learn new skills and gain knowledge through various workshops.
- Cuppa with a Counsellor and additional aupport from Citizen’s Advice!
- Attend Support Groups: Join group sessions to share experiences and receive peer support
- Take part in uplifting activities: Engage in gardening/hortculture, animal care and physical activities!
- You can book a session with a Lived Experience Recovery Supporter: One-to-one guidance from someone who has been through it all before (referral required).).

New Recovery Space at Pathways of Chesterfield – S41 7TD
Welcome to Pathways of Chesterfield Recovery Space at the Chesterfield Community Centre! Pathways of Chesterfield is excited to announce the launch of The Recovery Space, a brand-new, welcoming hub for anyone affected by their own or someone else’s substance use. Set in the heart of Chesterfield at Chesterfield Community Centre, S41 7TD, this safe and inclusive space offers support, activities, and community connection—all in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. At Pathways of Chesterfield Recovery Space, visitors will find a welcoming space where they can:
- Games Group: Variety of games to play in a chilled environment. Refreshments provided.
- Art and Crafts Group: All abilities welcome, easy, relaxed and friendly group. Lunch provided.
- Wellbeing Group: Choose a piece of furniture to upcycle and keep. Lunch provided.
- Social Café: Come and spend time with others in recovery and enjoy. Some of the cafés will have a special theme to them, others will be chatter and cake 😊
- Gardening Group: We walk down to Inspire Community Gardens and help maintain the plot and grow produce. Refreshments provided.
- Women’s Group: Our women-only group where we chat, drink tea, and take part in different activities each week. Refreshments provided.
- Music Group: Last Friday of the month. All abilities welcome. Instruments provided. Lunch provided.
Coming Soon:
- Stepping Stones: A group for people in very early stages of recovery. A different activity each week, a chance to try new things.
- Peer Mentoring: We will be recruiting our next peer mentoring cohort over the summer to start in autumn. Have a chat with the recovery team if you are interested.
- Weekend Activities: Times and dates to be confirmed.
- SMART Recovery: On Wednesday evenings.
