Active Choices is delighted to announce the expansion of its gym programme to Long Eaton. In response to growing demand, Active Choices has secured access to the newly refurbished gym at West Park, giving even more people the opportunity to improve their health and wellbeing in a supportive environment.
The modern, state-of-the-art facilities, combined with a clean, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, provide the ideal setting to begin or continue a fitness journey with Active Choices.
Whether someone is stepping into a gym for the first time or working towards existing fitness goals, Active Choices sessions are designed to provide support every step of the way. The experienced team brings not only professional knowledge but also lived experience of recovery, creating a safe, understanding and encouraging environment where everyone feels welcome.
Regular physical activity can play an important role in supporting recovery, improving both physical and mental wellbeing, building confidence and helping to establish healthy routines.

Active Choices, delivered by Derby County Community Trust, supports people in recovery from substance misuse to improve their health, wellbeing and confidence through physical activity, peer support and positive lifestyle change. Since 2012, the programme has helped more than 2,000 people on their recovery journey.
