Amber Valley Adult Recovery

The Amber Valley Neighbourhood team provides mental health support to adults regardless of age; this support is based on individuals’ needs. The team will work with you to help you find both short-term and longer-term ways to improve your mental health, and to focus on healthy living and behaviours.

Amber Valley Volunteer Service

We have a dedicated Volunteer Centre at our office in Ripley that is for people who live in Amber Valley. If you would like more information about volunteering and the opportunities available in the area, we have all the information you need.

Carers in Derbyshire

Carers in Derbyshire has been created by a partnership of unpaid carers and local health, social care and voluntary sector organisations, to jointly create a partnership website to act as ‘starting point’ for carers who are using the internet to find help, advice and support services at any time of the day or night.

Derbyshire Districts Citizens Advice

We can give you free, confidential, impartial and independent advice and information on a wide range of subjects. We can work with you to sort out any debt worries and claim all the benefits you may be entitled to, help with housing and employment problems, or deal with queries about consumer or tax issues. We can advise on legal matters, answer questions about immigration, and we have lots of experience on family and personal matters too.

Derbyshire Recovery and Peer Support Service

Delivered in partnership with People, Potential, Possibilities (P3) and Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health (DFMH), the service will help people improve and maintain their mental health and wellbeing and reconnect with their local community by offering access to targeted one-to-one staff support, telephone support and community groups, and is open to anyone over the age of 18 living in Derbyshire who is experiencing mental ill health.

We provide free and independent welfare rights advice and representation, as well as campaigning for the rights of those who are unemployed, on a low income or sick, injured or disabled by their work.

Derbyshire Veterans Group HQ

The Derbyshire Veterans Group HQ is for veterans, their spouses, partners and children from Derbyshire and the surrounding area.The group is for those with an alcohol and/or drug issue and also those with a mental health problem. The group is led by veterans of all Forces, who are best placed to understand the needs of an individual, while bridging the gap veterans often find difficult to bridge.
