Carers in Derbyshire has been created by a partnership of unpaid carers and local health, social care and voluntary sector organisations, to jointly create a partnership website to act as ‘starting point’ for carers who are using the internet to find help, advice and support services at any time of the day or night.

Social eating at Cotmanhay Children’s Centre every Tuesday and Thursday 11.30am – 1.30pm. Go along for a three course meal costing around £2.50 and get involved too as they are always looking for volunteers.

Derbyshire Recovery and Peer Support Service

Delivered in partnership with People, Potential, Possibilities (P3) and Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health (DFMH), the service will help people improve and maintain their mental health and wellbeing and reconnect with their local community by offering access to targeted one-to-one staff support, telephone support and community groups, and is open to anyone over the age of 18 living in Derbyshire who is experiencing mental ill health.

The Derbyshire Veterans Group HQ is for veterans, their spouses, partners and children from Derbyshire and the surrounding area.The group is for those with an alcohol and/or drug issue and also those with a mental health problem. The group is led by veterans of all Forces, who are best placed to understand the needs of an individual, while bridging the gap veterans often find difficult to bridge.

Derventio Housing Trust provides accommodation for people who are facing homelessness. Each resident is supported to take positive steps to improve their situation and achieve their goals.

We provide support for disabled people to find training, work experience, voluntary work and paid employment. We can advise you about support in the workplace, such as equipment or other support you may need and help employers to support their disabled staff.
